There is ample evidence that people tend to rely too much on explanation when trying to prove their opinion. Several studies have shown that these errors may be due to being unable to differentiate between interpretation and evidence. We have studied alternative explanations, and many distinguish interpretation and evidence, but rely more on unconfirmed interpretation when evidence is poor or absent. I studied the philosophical and psychological differences between interpretation and evidence and showed that participants are using interpretation instead of missing the evidence. Experiment 1 reproduces the results of other researchers but it further suggests that participants produce more evidence without being limited by data. Just mentioning data sources may change their evaluation (Experiment 2) and their interpretation and generation of evidence (Experiment 3). Experiment 4 shows that participants can explicitly examine the usefulness of evidence and other practical factors when evaluating discussions. Finally, we consider using explanations instead of missing evidence as a meaning of the assertion strategy.
Controversy is the process of explaining the solution and reaching an agreement to design. In science, evidence-based reasoning and discussion are important to determine the best interpretation of natural phenomena. Engineering requires inference and discussion to determine the best solution to the design problem. It is essential for students to participate in scientific discussions if students want to understand how scientists' culture, science and engineering are applied to society. Therefore, controversy is a process based on evidence and reasoning that leads to an acceptable interpretation in the scientific community and a design solution acceptable in the engineering world.
You already know what the argument is: there are differences among people about the issues they think are important. Scientific claims are defined as the fact that people do not agree with scientific interpretation (claims) using empirical data (evidence) to justify their argument. Scientific discussion is the process that scientists follow to lead research activities. Scientists have discovered the weaknesses and limitations of other people's claims with the ultimate goal of improving and improving scientific interpretation and experimental design. Participation in Evidence Demonstration 9-12 Participation in Evidence Evidence is based on the experience and progress of K - 8, and appropriate and sufficient evidence and science to defend and criticize the claims and interpretations of the natural world and the design world We use inferential reasoning. Controversy may also come from scientific or historical events of the current science. • In sexual reproduction, chromosomes may exchange slices during meiosis (cell division), resulting in a new genetic combination that produces more genetic variation. DNA replication is tightly regulated and highly accurate, but it causes errors and leads to mutations, which are also responsible for genetic mutation. Environmental factors may also cause genetic mutations, and viable mutations are inherited
