INTRODUCTION Ancient Greeks believed that the human mind could provide infinite 'pneumatic' or life energy to humans. Greek doctor Galen believes that "pneuma" and blood will flow out of the heart like a fountain. He believes that the source of this valuable life is infinite. William Harvey did not judge that Galen was completely incorrect until 1616. His idea that blood is actually limited due to bleeding in the Harvey period is not warmly welcomed.

Blood pressure is the force that a person's heart sends blood into the body. Depending on the external work being done by the body, the body often increases or decreases blood pressure. For example, physical activity makes the heart beat faster, and blood can be pumped into the body at a more powerful rate. Hypertension is defined as a long-term rise in blood pressure above 140/90 mmHg, affecting approximately 75 million Americans. If not treated, hypertension can greatly increase the risk of heart attacks, stroke and peripheral arterial disease.

Blood pressure and heart rate are neither fixed nor constantly changing with body. Factors such as diet, exercise, physical and psychological stress may alter arterial pressure. When the blood vessels in the body contract and the heart continuously sends the same amount of blood into the body, the blood pressure of the individual rises. As blood vessel diameter increases, blood pressure decreases and blood can flow easily. High blood pressure is called high blood pressure, and low blood pressure is called hypotension. The individual's body responds to pain and stress caused by rising blood pressure and reacts to sustained and frequent exercise.
