Experiences and Characteristics of Absconding Patients from Psychiatric Units

In this article we will review two articles and investigate the experience and characteristics of psychiatric sit-ups. The first year case study by Intansari Nurjannah, Mary Fitz Gerald, and Kim Foster investigated the experience of refractory patients in psychiatric hospitals in Indonesia. These experiences were recorded through 16 semistructured interviews focused on qualitative information. The second journal article by Eimear Muir-Cochrane, Krista Mosel, Adam Gerace, Adrian Esterman, and Len Bowers is investigating the characteristics of Australian psychiatric ward external patients by analyzing statistical data.

Several psychiatric hospitals have prison characteristics. In addition, there are psychiatric hospitals that provide consideration for criminals diagnosed with various psychiatric disorders in many prisons. This article reviews academic literature on citizen's commitment to psychiatric treatment. This outlines the history of involuntary psychiatric hospitalization in the United States - from the establishment of First Asylum to the institutionalization to the institutionalization movement. Conflicts between ethical conflicts provided by involuntary inpatient clinics for donors, ie, moral obligations of charities and respect for patient autonomy, have been proposed. Discussed the evolution of US commitment criteria on the basis of patient rights based on patients with psychiatric disorders to risk based on, and on the impact of changes in commitment criteria on patients and society. Finally, I will outline the outpatient's commitment.
