Manyoshu and Kokinzaku are the two most famous poems in Japan. Both have played an important role in building the foundation of Japanese literature. Manyoshu is the first Japanese private poem collection that appeared in AD 759. When the large amount was imported from the Nara period, from Japan to culture, bureaucracy, and Chinese literature, Manyoshu was created to distinguish Japanese poetry or Fuuka from Chinese poetry. It is also known to accommodate poets from various social classes and regions of Japan.
In the Heian period (Christian era 794 - 1185), poetry became a very popular form as art. The two most important works that appeared during this period are Manyoshu and Kokoro. Manyoshu is the first collection of poems written so far, and the old is a collection of the first verses under the empire. They are important not only because they are the beginning of Japanese recorded art, but also because they have had a great influence on and represent the culture and society at the time.
In Japan, the spirit of Japan is expressed literally, and the two poetry collections of Manyoshu and Kokubugi are highly appreciated. These two objectives are similar in literature, but the intent behind each essay and the legacy left behind are completely different. Man'yōshū incorporates the integrity of the poet and Makoto or all classes and helps Japanese form a national identity through their poetry. Based on this, noble art can build and use Miyabi or sophistication and elegance to build high-level art form poetry.
In the preface of Kokinsh's poet, wood vineyard wrote that the poem conveys the "heart" of people. Poetry also declares people's true mind, so the poetry in the poet of the past also believes that it shakes the heart of God. In ancient times, we can see that the poems are very important for those of those days, or at least for the past poets. In this article, I will explain two of the most important works of Japanese poetry, namely Manyoshu and Kokubugi.
