Exile in Mythology

Myth flow "If you know all the difficulties at the beginning of a long journey, most of us will not leave at all" (quotes from the trip). Through Greek and Roman mythology, exiles appear in various forms. Regardless of its purpose, however, all mythical figures of Greek and Roman recognize that the above introduction by American journalist Dan Rather is surprisingly accurate. Somehow they could not concentrate on their presents when they resigned to start the exile test.

The focus of this lecture is presented by Cacciaguida (Paradise XV - XVII). The encounter with pilgrims and his great-grandfather highlights the relationship between history, self and exile. Through his ancestral myth to Florence's hometown, Dante showed a shift from a historic model to another epic model, from magnificent grandeur to a medieval chronological localism. Both grounds are the understanding of the genealogies mentioned by Dante's myth, father and son, from Aeneas and Angus to Phaeton, and Apollo, Hippolito and Teceus. And condemnation. Regarding the spatial continuity provided by these genealogies, the classical and medieval concepts of the relationship between self and history is due to Cachajida's uncertainty about the prediction of Dante's exile. The constitution of this verse, the premise of exile is redeemed as another way to reenter the historical world.

Greeks and Romans have the same gods and goddesses, but their names are different. Most Romans use the name of the planet. Poseidon is the Greek name, Neptune is the name of the Roman. Zeus is Greek, Jupiter is Roman. Hades is Greek, Pluto is Roman. Selene and Helios are Greek, Luan and Sol are Romans. The main reason for myth is to explain what people can not explain.
