A good example of faith in God in the Old Testament is that Abraham was tried by God. It starts with Genesis 22: 1-19 and provides an amazing story about God. After waiting for all of these years to Abraham and Sarah, after asking miraculously to give them a son, here God asks the Abraham to sacrifice Isaac as a sacrifice. God indicated to Abraham what God is always believing is true when his human reasons do not match God's reasons - this is a lesson that many people can not understand.
The Old Testament teaches that "righteousness lives by faith" (Habakkuk 2: 4), and in the New Testament the truth is cited three times, expanded and illuminated. We gained this faith through the grace of God. He is faithful to his children, and by his grace we will someday hear the "good, good, and faithful servant" (Matthew 25: 23)
But ... ... We were rebuking us for being prophesied in the redemption Old Testament. The Old Testament is the history that led us to the New Testament. The New Testament is about my son and all our salvation. Through faith in Christ Jesus our connection with our God has recovered. amazing.
Christians see the promises of the Old Testament being fulfilled in the New Testament. It contains and explains the new contract represented between Jesus and the disciple of Christ in the life and death of Jesus. As in the Old Testament, various sentences are written. From the 27 books, there are four memories of Jesus' life, behavior, and rumors in the Gospels, the historical story of the first year of the Christian church in the apostolic community, letters and advice to the local Christianity group And advisers - 14 Paul, one (Hebrew), and seven other writers; and the explanation of the end of God's intervention into history in the Apocalypse
Beginning in Genesis 3: 15, it continues through the Old Testament and witnesses the redemption of Messiah's faith. As in Isaiah Chapter 53, God witnessed the righteousness of God in the sacrifices of the Old Testament, the Tabernacle, the priests, the prophecies, the genres, and the scriptures. The law can test God's righteousness, but it can not give it to sinners. "Meat is weak" (Romans 8: 3). So what is the other characteristic of justice from this God? Most importantly, as the righteousness of God (Romans 3: 21), it is unrelated to the law. The literal meaning "other than law" is "other than law." The law is irrelevant. In other words, there is no article. That is not just the Old Testament law. It refers to all kinds of laws such as the Old Testament Law, the Law of Conscience (2: 14-15), or the principle of justice on the mountain.
