Evolution of America's Party System

In political and political systems, Alan Ware summarizes the two major competition theories trying to explain its party system. One is a sociological approach, then an institutional approach. These countries have approved the same party system, but the British two party system is different from the two-party system in the U.S.

In the war between France and the United Kingdom in 1793, there were conflicts in the United States as federalists and the democratic republic did not agree on where to place loyalty.

Political scientists and historians divide the development of the two-party system in the United States into five periods. Modern two-party system consists of Democratic Party and Republican Party. In general, since the 1930's, the Democratic Party has positioned itself as the center of politics in the United States, but the Republican Party has positioned itself as a central right. Several third parties are also active in the United States, sometimes by choosing someone in their local office. Democratic Party is one of the two major parties in America. It is the oldest political party in the world. Since the Republican Party split in 1912, the Democratic Party has positioned itself as advancing economic and social problems and supporting labor. Franklin Roosevelt's economic philosophy strongly influences American liberalism, which has formed the majority of the party's agenda since 1932.
