In 2012, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) estimated that Americans ate an average of 52.3 pounds of beef, 57.4 pounds of chicken and 43.5 pounds of pork per capita. (Reference?) Only 5% of Americans are vegetarians Americans eat too much meat, and within one year you have to be forced to become a vegetarian. Since meat is the main food of American diet, there is no reason to take this approach. This fact alone shows that most American meals are composed of meat sources.

This may sound like a hippie, but I believe that animals have souls, so I am a proud vegetarian. But I refuse to be a nasty vegetarian, and they tell others that they should not eat meat. I like those peaceful vegetarians. I truly understand that everyone should not be a vegetarian. I have never put pressure on anyone to not eat meat. I am not that strict.
