Boxing has a long history of battle and is popular in most parts of the world, including the United States, Europe and Asia. The origin of boxing is the prehistoric era and sports has been developed for many years but it is popular and has a popularity. There are currently four major boxing sanctions in the United States: the World Boxing Organization (WBO), the International Boxing Organization (IBF), the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the World Boxing Council (WBC). Due to the cultural connection with the area, the popularity of boxing varies from country to country. Examples of countries with strong cultural links with boxing are Mexico, Russia, the United States and so on, and the majority of famous champions come from these areas. However, many famous stars from professional boxing have become international cross-cultural icons such as Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali and Roberto Duran.

Boxing has two internationally recognized fame halls, the International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF) and the World Boxing Hall of Fame (WBHF), IBFOF is a widely-known boxing hall of fame. In 2013, the boxing hall of fame was opened in Las Vegas, Nevada and was founded by former Mike Tyson Assistant Manager Steve Lot. WBHF was founded in 1980 by Everett L. Sanders. Since its inception, the WBHOF did not have a permanent place or museum, which has led to the recent IBHOF getting more publicity and fame. Well-known names in WBHF include Ricardo "Finito" Lopez, Gabriel "Flash" Elorde, Michael Carbajal, Khaosai Galaxy, Jack Johnson, Roberto Durán, George Foreman, Ceferino Garcia, and Salvador Sanchez. The Boxing International Honorary Hall of Fame was inspired by a tribute to the American town of two local heroes in 1982.

Boxing dates back to ancient Greece and its history became a contemporary movement known today in 1867. At that time, the Marquis of Queensbury released a series of rules governing the game of the day to the Lord. The National Boxing Association, which later became the World Boxing Association, was founded in 1921. There are four organizations that are considered to be administrators of today's sports: WBA, International Boxing Federation, World Boxing Organization and the World Boxing Council.
