Ethnic Identity

Teachers and managers aiming to improve the motivation and student achievement of the students need to be aware that the body of the students diversifies and that various aspects of school culture must be changed. Many schools alienate students from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, as they have not established a link between self-identification and the school's identity. School staff can implement these changes through various strategies and improve student motivation and academic performance, but this requires a great deal of effort and devotion.

Our research on 120 students from two very diverse colleges in Southern California focuses on national identity. We have established racial identity as a racial identity that students build on the basis of group members, excellence or commitment of racial identity, participation in ethnic-related behaviors, and external affirmations according to ethnic groups Define it.
