People deal with different living conditions everyday, and coaches are a good way to deal with difficult situations. Counselors are faced with these situations and it is very important that they are prepared and properly trained to be able to do their best to deal with their customers. There are many rules and regulations that can help maintain counselor's professionalism to help guide confidentiality, superiors and intern relations, diversity and clinical experience.
What does it mean that there is a boundary between relationships? Consulting professionals have a code of ethics to guide consultation on required standards. The Code of Ethics is designed by the American Consulting Association, protects clients and consultants, and provides services. Borders can include small things such as gifts, external meetings, lunch, and of course physical contact, sexual relations, social networking and so on. In the relationship between the counselor and the client (Pearson, B, Piazza N), the dual relationship can be defined as treatment and personal relationship. They are relatively easy to define, but that may be difficult with regard to legality and ethics. In order to incorporate specific criteria into an ethical decision model, you first need to understand what is ethically appropriate in the field of counseling.
Morality is the moral principle or behavioral norm of an individual or group of groups. The term morality comes from the spirit of Greece and means customs, habits or personality. Moral decides choice. In counseling, ethics is the foundation of the nature and process of behavior taken by counselors. Counselors and other people to help experts should act in an ethical way. From the essence of professionals, counselors should act for the customer's best interests, promote customer goals, protect customer rights, maximize profits and minimize harm (Stein, 1990 ). This expectation is magnified by the inherent strength of the relationship between the client and the consultant. Ethics, including ethics and principles, are designed to balance power and consultants to serve customers' interests, not themselves.
