The Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) route is designed to help individuals work in public institutions, mainly focusing on client mental health issues. Clinical Mental Health Advice EWU students are participating in a 94-hour program currently recognized as a mental health counseling program, but are designed to meet the CACREP certification criteria as a clinical mental health counseling program. We are seeking certification for this track to enter into force in March 2018. This course will acquire a master's degree and prepare clinical mental health advice for graduates such as mental health clinic, private counseling institution, drug abuse treatment center, parenting clinic, family counseling center and private clinic. This course meets the educational requirements of a mental health counselor's license approved by Washington.
