Abstract This paper presents a conceptual model of ethical business decision making. The purpose of this model is to explore the ethical meaning of personal relationships in business communication. First of all, this article explains the personal relationship in business communication. Secondly, three ethical theories related to the business environment are proposed. Third, it introduces literature investigations of existing ethical business decision making models and frameworks. Finally, a new model has been proposed and models are being developed using a connection-based approach. The new model supports the inclusion of mathematical modules for autonomous ethical business decisions.
