Etching is a simple technique to grind glass pieces for design. It is a way to create a "frosted" appearance on the surface of the glass. Sculpture is used not only to carve glass but also to produce sophisticated and permanent effects by engraving the design on glass. Etching is a method of creating graphic design on smooth glass. Etching takes time and promises to form beautiful art works popular in the past 20 years. Etching is a simple art of three basic techniques requiring perseverance and devotion to create a beautiful design on the glass.
Technology used for intaglio etching. As with etching, aquatint technology involves using acid to mark metal sheets. If the etching technique uses a needle to make the line holding the ink, the aquatint rely on powdered rosin which is acid resistant to the ground to produce a color effect. The rosin is slightly scattered through the fan chamber and the rosin is cooked until it is placed on the dish. At this point rosin can be polished or scraped to affect its sound quality. Since the change in hue is controlled by the level of acid exposure over a wide area, the image is formed by a large cross section at once.
Etching technology used to create tone. Sprinkle the rosin on the board first and heat it. The cured plate is then placed in an acid bath. The acid etches around the ground to form a dented surface of "points". When ink is applied to the board and wiped, the ink remains in the "dots" of the dent. The plates were then printed using an etch press. The color tone of printed matter depends on the density of "dots" of dents. Techniques for drawing images on limestone or processed aluminum panels using ink called tushe or lithographic crayons. This printing is based on the fact that grease repels water. The withdrawn stone is treated with acidified gum solution and wiped with cheesecloth into a hard film. Therefore, the unstretched region repels the ink and the drawing region opens the ink. Then wipe the stone with water and roll the next ink in the drawing area. Then print the image on a lithographic printing machine
