In the past 100 years, women have made tremendous progress in every aspect of life. There is no doubt about it. Women can now work, possess property, participate in professional sports. Today, women can participate in sports competitions that once remained a male governor; there is space for women on stage. But even today, women in the sports world are not portrayed as male gays. This is mainly due to the cultural ideals of the women today.

Since the beginning of the century, women like Babe Didrickson and Billy Jean King put female athletes in the mainstream acceptance stage. Previously, women were not only encouraged, they were considered harmful as well.

In the century a woman was able to escape from the mold of a traditional woman. The woman broke the chain linking them with his family and appeared in various men-dominated fields including sports. The woman himself became an athlete. In the past 10 years, female athletes have been confirmed. Since the 1950 's, the National Women' s Professional Baseball Federation has ceased to exist and WNBA has established a female professional federation and became the mainstream of the traditional male movement. Recently, the woman completed cutting and participated in a professional golf tour. Today, we often see female athletes in the media. For girls' college basketball, conversations are held like men on weekends.

But even today, female athletes are not the same as men. Women are not allowed to be masculine, they can be athletes, but they need to maintain femininity. Even the great athletes like Babe Didriksen must change their image to fit the sense that our culture should be for women. Women may be approved, but she should handle them in some way. She may sweat both in court and in court, but in front of the camera she can not sweat.

Some female athletes are not yet accepted. A healthy woman does not receive the same respect as men. There are many.

Looking back on this information, I think the main reason for the fact that women as athletes are not equal is that women's sports are only receiving 7% of Australian television sports and 9% of sports reports . Even horses have received more coverage than female athletes! The absence of insurance means less money, less sponsors, less opportunities, and lower wages. After winning the gold medal at the rugby Olympics, the rugby 7 girls team made some progress. They discussed a new collective agreement that seven men and women players now earn $ 44,500 a year with entry level salary. This agreement also includes female athletes' pregnancy policy to ensure the economic safety of pregnant athletes.

Compared to men, there is still imbalance in the quality and quantity of sports women's sports reports. The two week Olympic Games report is rare, and the continuous coverage of women's sports stars has made headlines. However, at major sports festivals, according to statistics, 40% of all sports participants are women, but female sports is only about 4% of all sports media coverage. Furthermore, in limited reports women are often objective or depraved

Historically, women's team sports has limited coverage and comprehensiveness of the Olympic Games. In the 1991 survey on the female sports coverage of major US newspapers by the LA 84 Foundation, we found that 5% of the sports sector is devoted to women's sports. In the same survey, it was concluded that 1% of all pictures of the sports department of major US newspapers are female athletes and events. But the coverage of female Olympic athletes on TV is more balanced with that of men, but it is still different. In the 2002 Olympic Games, male coverage at the height of the world was twice that of women. Because 47% of the 1996 Olympic Games were female competitions, this is a decrease in girls' convention report. In addition, commentators have been shown to prefer to use "non-sports terminology" to refer to female athletes more than male athletes.
