Essay on Loss of Freedom in The Giver

Free donor's loss is a book written by Lois Lowry and challenges my ideas, thoughts and beliefs. This novel describes an ideal society where everything is perfect and you have to solve all life problems. Because it does not know the difference between good and evil. People will be deprived of their better lifestyle if people do not know what the real world should be.

But freedom should not be regarded as a matter of course. I realized this when I read the book "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. "Gender" is a book about citizens trying to use his knowledge as a receiver of memory to change the community. While reading the last few chapters of this book, citizen Jonas began to understand all the secrets and restrictions of the government against others. Almost all the rules enforced by the Board revoked their freedom of choice without people's consent or understanding. They were living their lives just like everyone else, but they did not know that they were imprisoned. They can not feel real deep emotions, but they are meaningless temporary lights. I believe that they control them, but Jonas' community can not be selected by themselves.
