After completing the article, sit it for the day and read it with fresh eyes, grab something confusing or grab the whole paragraph - anything can improve your job. And when you are done please read it again and read again. Some people confuse "editing" with "proofreading". Both are important, but the focus of the editor is on the contents of the content and its function. If you find out that your idea is clearer or more effective in other ways, do not want to change it, so do not rely too much on your language or specific ideas. Proofreading is more technical, you can capture errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting.

Line editing and proofreading are reading technical errors such as misspelling, punctuation marks, basic sentence structure. Standard editing marks are abbreviations used when displaying hardcopy originals. As technology advances, the use of this type of editing is getting less and less. Computer programs, especially Microsoft Word, allow the editor to highlight words and phrases and then annotate those edges. Editors use this method to process hard copies.
