Ersamus Desiderius life and works

Ersamus Desiderius Erasmus, Desiderius was born in 1466 in Southwest Holland (Rotterdam) (Southern Netherlands). He is an illegitimate son of the pastor and a daughter of a doctor. Erasmus was a strict monastery and was educated at devener and S'hertogenbosch. Immediately after his father died, he was appointed a pastor in 1492.
