According to Maguire, "Erik Erikson covered a certain period of time and identified biologically based 8-step psychosocial development" (Magill, 1998, p. 225). Ericsson hopes to combine the emphasis of Siegmund Freud's sexual motives with the pressures of social motives emphasizing other theorists (Wittig, Belkin, & Wittig, 1990, p. 279). These stages are explained in a later article. I will also briefly introduce Erik Erikson. Erik Erikson Erik Erikson was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1902.
Researcher Erik Erikson has developed eight development stages. The fifth phase of Ericsson's development is the confusion of identity and role that occurs between the ages of 13 and 15 (McLeod, 2008). At this stage, Erikson claims McLeod (2008) argues that "This is the main stage of development and children have to learn the role they play in adulthood" (paragraph 25). Violence by mass media such as games, sports and television seems to target vulnerable groups such as children and adolescents, but both of them are immature and tend to take dangerous behaviors.
In this article, the authors introduce some contributions from Erik Erikson 's eight - level development theory and provide a perspective on the development of occupational behavior. First, he explained the theory of Ericsson 's eight life stages. In his view, the development of the basic meaning of initiatives, industry, identity, generation, and integrity seems to be particularly relevant to professional development behavior. This theory provides a framework for combining career development and global human development. In addition, Ericsson's theory recognizes the role of social and cultural factors in relation to life cycle development and provides a theoretical framework for integrating research results into sociology of occupational behavior. . The third contribution of Ericsson's theory is identity crisis and self-identity.
