Erik Erikson is a self psychologist. According to Erikson, the child's growth environment is important as it provides the child with a growing environment, adaptation, source of consciousness, and identity. Erik Erikson researcher has developed eight development stages. The fifth phase of Ericsson's development is the confusion of identity and role that occurs between the ages of 13 and 15 (McLeod, 2008). First, he explained the theory of Ericsson 's eight life stages. In his view, the development of the basic meaning of initiatives, industry, identity, generation, and integrity seems to be particularly relevant to professional development behavior. This theory provides a framework for combining career development and global human development. In addition, Ericsson's theory recognizes the role of social and cultural factors in relation to life cycle development and provides a theoretical framework for integrating research results into sociology of occupational behavior. . The third contribution of Ericsson's theory is identity crisis and self-identity.
Erik Erikson's eight-step human development theory is one of the most famous theories of psychology.
