Equality for Women in our Society

Did you know that the lowest ranked women among the hyena groups are ranked higher than the highest male in that group? This is very different from human social structure in most societies. Women are soft and delicate, but women are sympathetic, intellectual, strong, and work harder than men, so they should be equal. Women can solve the situation in a caring, intelligent way and work hard until peace is achieved. Because women have the same qualities as men in most areas and some men have the qualities they lack, women should be treated equal to men.

There is another view on women's equality in our society. As we all know, today's women can work as hard as men to feed their families. They can get a good education and have the opportunity to create a good career. That is why educated women are more self-reliant and confident. They can choose their way of life. Some women do not want to obey the old tradition. They live according to the Western way of life. They do not depend on their husbands. In addition, their income is higher than their husbands. In our society, women and men are equal. Why. Women's rights establish the same social and economic status for women and men. Women's rights guarantee that women are not discriminated on the basis of gender. By the late 20th century most women in society had been deprived of legal and political rights. The fact that Botswana has not experienced political change for nearly 20 years can explain why the country has the smallest number of women in the Diet in 2013. The problem is that we do not give them equal rights. The status of women in our society is not satisfying. Most of our women living in the village are uneducated and uneducated.
