Epicureans: A Debate

My theme focuses on my argument about Rosenbaum's defense of food perspective, Rupper's criticism of this perspective, and who is taking a stronger stand on this issue. The third thought we analyzed was epicureanism. For people of Epicurean, happiness is the source of happiness. Epicurean's concept of happiness may be far from the original idea, but these ideas often lead to the idea of ​​pursuing happiness. For epicurus, the heart of happiness is to use practical wisdom, or to know how to pursue what is good for you in a pain free life. Notably, in the letter to Mynoeceus, Epicurus details the relationship between various forms of happiness and its happiness.

This is far from the epiculus philosophy. Hedonism promotes seeking happiness; but the pleasure you are seeking is not the happiness of the body, but the happiness of the soul, no interference, no interference is most important; Epicuras strives to eliminate external interference. As the most important materialist in the ancient world, Epicuras taught and wrote extensively on the nature of matter, especially the laws and emotions of atoms and their movement. Although he did not deny the existence of God, he rejected the power the myths gave them and the concept of actively interfering with their human lives.
