EPA History: Earth Day

Before 1970 it may be difficult to imagine that the factory will fly a toxic foggy black cloud in the air or dump a large amount of toxic waste into a nearby stream, It is legal. They can not be taken to the court to stop it.

Between months and years following the first Earth Day and the creation of the EPA, the green movement and environmental awareness were integrated into private and public institutions around the world. All groundbreaking environmental laws such as water purification law, federal agricultural chemical law, air purification law, endangered species law, national landscape law, etc. are all signed by law. These Federal laws are working with many other state and local programs for environmental protection. However, all institutions have critics, and environmental movement is no exception. As the environmental law came to be enforced nationwide, in many business circles, environmental law adversely affects the profitability of mining, forestry, fishery, manufacturing industry and other mining and polluting industries understood.
