Course report on mangroves on campus, freshwater wetlands, or palm hammocks. Professors often use many keys near nearby beaches, parks and wildlife
Why does the graduate school wait for research experience? Here, the teacher can help you learn the economic value of osprego, local fishing attitude, eco houses, or local beaches.
Our environmental studies program continues to work in the fields of education, natural resource management, urban design, natural resource law, environmental journalism, public health, natural photography, movies and arts.
"The professor's dedication to each student is wonderful, as a person with lots of things to do in four years, I can count on my environmental research professor and mentor to put my goals in my education At the front line, Eckerd has never been numbered (except for the contents of the student ID card) - you always belong to that name. "
Encourage students of environmental learning to study in semester or one year with a strong environment-related course. Particularly suitable are Whitman College's environmental research field project, West semester, and field laboratory. See the "Special Programs" section of this directory. Also consider the contact field semester of the northwestern part of the University of Montana. Introduce interdisciplinary topics in environmental research, including scientific, social and human scientific perspectives. The focus is to understand regional and regional environmental problems and global environmental problems. Students taking this course should also participate in environmental study excursions of environmental learning 120L. Weekly excursion covers the length of Walla Walla drainage path
Related research fields include environmental research and environmental engineering. Environmental research combines more social science to understand human relationships, environmental awareness and policies. Environmental engineering focuses on design and technology to improve the environmental quality of every aspect. Environmental scientists are dedicated to research on earth processes, evaluation of alternative energy systems, pollution prevention and mitigation, natural resource management, and the impact of global climate change. Environmental problems in most cases involve interactions of physical, chemical and biological processes. Environmental scientists have adopted a systematic approach to the analysis of environmental problems. Important elements of an effective environmental scientist include the ability to correlate space, time relationships, and quantitative analysis.
