Trees have done a lot of amazing things for us; they provide oxygen to prevent soil erosion on the earth and provide dwelling for many different animals around the world It enables us to live by providing heat and energy. They play such an important role in everyday life, and many people are not even aware of this. Some of the less well-known benefits that trees offer to us is actually adding value to our house. We use them when we go to school.

Forest loss is considered to be one of the factors contributing to global climate change. According to Michael Daley, Associate Professor of Environmental Science at Russell College, Newton, Massachusetts, the first big problem caused by deforestation is the global carbon cycle impact. Gas molecules that absorb thermal infrared rays are called greenhouse gases. Mr. Daley said that if the amount of greenhouse gas is sufficiently large, it will force climate change. Oxygen (O 2) is the second most abundant gas in our atmosphere, but it does not absorb thermal infrared like greenhouse gases. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the most common greenhouse gas. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), carbon dioxide accounts for 82.2% of all greenhouse gases in the United States. Trees can help. According to Greenpeace, about 300 billion tons of carbon, which is 40 times the annual greenhouse gas emissions of fossil fuels, is stored in trees.

On the global scale, the observed environmental changes are becoming more serious. This includes forest destruction, greenhouse gas warming, biodiversity loss, desertification (Grimmond 83). These environmental changes are mainly due to rapid population growth (Grimmond 83). The impact of all these environmental changes is in the range of large and small. The impact of these changes on small scale climate change can be seen at a city level where a wider range of environmental changes is felt to a greater extent (Grimmond 83). The climate of the city has changed. The effects of urbanization on the climate include changes in the surface and atmosphere due to direct anthropogenic emissions, pollutants, carbon dioxide, and energy and water exchange and urban flow changes due to urban warming (Grimmond 83) .
