English Vocabulary Word List

The English vocabulary is large, there are estimated words of 250,000 words, three times the many different meanings of that word. However, most English teachers will tell me that if you master the most commonly used 3,000 words of English words, you will get 90-95% understanding of English newspapers, books, movies and conversations.
