Acting assignment B (page 137): In this series, students will explain the experience and background on the type of terrorism. In this activity, students will conduct a literary analysis on one of the two imaginary horror stories in the series. To support the analysis, students use Sharon A. Russell's "What is the type of horror?" Students consider the structure of horror novels and tools used by authors, such as suspense and plot. When analyzing stories and stories they select, they also focus on settings, events, and details to make the work trustworthy. RI.1.1, W.1.2a-f, W.2.5, W.3.9a, W.4.10

Performance tasks: Each set provides one or two performance tasks for coaching, ongoing feedback when the student completes the task, and formative and summary evaluation data.

Required text: Each collection contains a text set and the text needed to complete the performance task at the end of the module. The text of each collection comes with order, text related questions, and sub-tasks. This allows students to independently read and understand grade level texts ranging from understanding to analysis, utilization of knowledge, and utilization of knowledge. Main Learning Purpose and Criteria: The planning elements before each mandatory text contain the main learning objectives and key criteria of the text.

Optional text: Each collection contains a text set and optional text that you can use to teach, re-learn, practice, extend, and evaluate student learning.

Turn off the power of the reader: Turning off the power of the reader is a consumable that gives students an opportunity to fully understand and practice how to carefully read the sentences of rewarding grade. This resource instructs students about text evidence citation methods to support analysis of difficult language, complex text structured texts to read, how to read, how to respond, and selection.

Hypothetical case study: Mr. Brown teaches English art of grade 7 and plans to use non-fiction works as the final unit evaluation. She does not ask students to complete the final two pages of homework at once, but asks the students to submit the first draft to the companion. Colleagues use grading criteria to evaluate the paper and provide written feedback on the assignment. Students will modify their drafts and submit feedback from the final and the first draft and peers to Mr. Brown.
