I wrote mainly in Chinese when I was a reporter in Hong Kong. Sometimes my editor asks me to translate some of the Chinese version into English version of English. I have no problem translating from English to Chinese, and vice versa, but whenever my English editor sends back a translation to me, my self esteem is next to my ankle It falls on.
