English and Communication Studies: Jacqueline Jones Royster

I am only familiar with medical problems, but from my point of view, researchers in the medical field are almost unprecedented by responding to the question "Why is your research important?" I proved that. If someone makes this question, there is a prejudice understanding that researchers have a viable answer to show how their work has a positive impact on society or in the future. People working in English and communication do not have this luxury.

I am interested in English, English is very interesting for me, so I am learning English. In today's world, English is necessary for communication in business, friendship, human relations or politics. I hope I can communicate with foreign friends. I would like to tell them about how nice our country and our culture is. Furthermore, I would like to speak English and become a politician who can work for diplomacy. When I am free in high school, I often speak English with my friends. I am speaking English with myself. I always listen to music with lyrics. I am practicing to sing English songs to practice my pronunciation. I can always find five new English words everyday. I ask my teacher or a friend when I have an English problem. Now, I feel that my English is much better than before. I often practice these methods. Before my English skills were very bad, I think that it has improved significantly.

Why is it important for students to learn English for everyone in the modern world? Most people learn to work in English. Companies worldwide use English as a common language and communication medium. In order to be able to immigrate and work in English-speaking continents like America, Europe and Australia you have to pass the IELTS test. The same is true if you want to enroll in a foreign school or university. However, if you can communicate properly in English, you can better describe yourself outside the field of specialization. This ability not only is respected by others, it can be better accepted and understood.
