The engineering design process is a series of steps leading the engineering team to solve problems. The design process is iterative. In other words, repeat these steps as many times as necessary, improve by learning from failure, and discover the possibility of a new design for an excellent solution.
The overall theme of the engineering design process is teamwork and design. We will deepen our students' understanding of open designs, brainstorming ideas, brainstorming ideas, applying concepts of science and mathematics, testing prototypes and analyzing data, aiming at the creative and practicality of solutions. Several equivalent technology design process (EDP) versions are used. Below is a description of the engineering process of the student team I am using. I posted it on my website's website. Please feel free to use and copy as much as you need. Although you can change some steps that are appropriate for the course, you can continue to be true to the basic EDP principles.

All PreK - 12 engineering experience includes some form of engineering design process. However, the process does not look the same for each experience. In recent years, many engineering education courses have been developed for students of K - 12, many of which include original engineering design versions. Engineering design often has different explanations for students of different ages. Older students are often provided with more detailed information and face more complex problems.
