Coal is an important resource for us to live as a human being. We use coal every day to carry and heat buildings. We need to stop using it and start looking for new production methods. Coal is fossil fuel. It can be identified as a black or brown rock that can be ignited and burned to gain energy. It consists of chemical elements of sulfur, carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen. Coal is classified by hardness, moisture and heat. Peat is compressed and dried as the sea deposits substances of other layers in peat for centuries.

Non-renewable energy is getting less and less. According to the US Department of Energy, more than 85% of the US energy comes from non-renewable natural resources, NNR. These resources include petroleum, coal, natural gas, uranium and so on. Unlike renewable energy such as solar, wind power, biofuels, NNR can not be replenished in a short period of time. Effective management of unrepairable resources means protection and reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. We refused "mass consumption of fuel". Let's consider the days to drive to a corner pharmacy. Saving gasoline, planning to move cars to reduce the dependence on oil in constant car speed, going out, regular car maintenance. Another option is to drive a more fuel-efficient car. In addition, walking, cycling, car pool helps manage a limited non-renewable oil resource.

Energy pollution such as coal, natural gas, petroleum, etc. can cause various serious medical complications such as asthma and lung cancer. This brings unnecessary pain and special medical expenses. Saving energy ensures a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions and hence reduces respiratory disease. The majority of the energy we consume today comes from fossil fuels. To purify these fossil fuels to useful energy such as automotive gasoline and household electricity, it is necessary to release a large amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is the main cause of greenhouse effect and global warming. Today, the effects of global warming, such as changes in climate patterns, temperature rise, sea level rise overwhelming some islands, will be revealed and deadly diseases such as cancer will spread.

Protecting natural resources is very important. We are looking for other materials. This includes material substitution and recycling. For energy, solar energy supplies the most renewable energy. The reserves of natural gas, petroleum and coal may be exhausted within human experience, but solar energy is always available. We call dugs from the ground a fossil. Coal, oil and natural gas are called fossil fuels. Because they are dug out from the ground, they are manufactured in the same way as fossil fuels. The supply of fossil fuel will eventually run out. Therefore, fossil fuel resources are called nonreproducible resources.
