When I was ninth grade we were taken to the library and told us to pick books so that we can read between standardized tests. I did not choose a book, but I started hanging at the library. In general I am in trouble. Typical teens
The librarian finally caught me and I asked for a book I like. I think that all "cool" children have read science fiction. This is what I said
"Well, you should read this book," she told me, "I gave you a very fatigued" Ander's game "and she liked it very much and told me to read it again every year.
To be honest, I am not excited. I see the cover a little. A very fun smell (Hey, I am still a child). I do not know what will happen to the awards of "Hugo" and "Nebula". But the bell rings and the test starts soon, I chose a bit. I checked the book and went on.
Because I soon became a candidate, I finished a boring job in about an hour of the 3 hour exam. I opened the book and began to read. Two hours later, I finished.
Until then, I read a lot of books - mostly "4th grade without stories" and "encyclopedia brown". This is the first "adult" novel I read. I am fascinated. I will keep reading everything that the Orson Scott Card can find. I wrote many short stories as a creative writing task, but all of them are battle school and ender's own work. I accepted the interest in writing short stories and "books" (very short books, I promise you) and eventually turned it into a pursuit of life.
And like a librarian, I read that book again each year. It is not something I can count, but I gave more copies of this book. I already have all the English version it publishes. This is a benchmark for me, a book that changes my life.
"Ander's Game" is a book that tells me that books can be your life. I am very grateful for this. My only regret is that I can not give it more than five stars.
The shadow of the ender, the shadow of the monarch, the shadow doll, the shadow of the giant. These are like Ander's game stories - military and psychological. Ender's shadow is parallel to Ender's game, covering many of the same events from various angles. Finally, there are several Shadows in Flight in this series that begin to match the original Ender series. They will exactly match the next book "Shadows Live".
Ender's shadow is a parallel novel of Ender's game. This means that it starts at a different angle and appears to the same person. In Andel's game, beans as heroes and heroes are small characters, beans are the hero in Enders Shadow, and Ender is only a secondary character. It shows the same fact, but it gives a different explanation of what happened. Both books are consistent, and both books are correctly integrated. The story reveals the ability of Bien to strategically analyze the situation, and he becomes a strategic part of the war with the aliens threatening the planet. Only the bean can judge the actual situation, training is actual, not training.
Other books are done during or before the end game event. As mentioned above, Ender's shadow is parallel to the story, with Bean as the main character. The fact that the movie contains elements from the shadow of the ender may exclude comprehensive adaptation, but there are other items in the so-called "shadow legend". As mentioned earlier, cards and collaborators Aaron Johnston is currently strengthening the first invasion with a new trilogy novel.
Ender's Shadow carries almost the same thing as the Enders' Game of Orson Scott Card. In his foreword, he told the reader that the book was not a sequel because the beginning and end of the book were roughly the same as those of the under. Indeed, he called it "another identical story." These two books contain many of the same letters and settings; the only difference is that they come from two different angles. Writing this story is a challenge for the author. He discovered that the same story was said twice, but at first glance it was different and more difficult.
