The second half of the 20th century was the largest and most extensive environmental conscious progress in human history. In 1972 President Nixon declared that the United States had insufficient protection to prevent species extinction and urged the 93 rd General Assembly to enact comprehensive laws of endangered species. Congress responded to the Endangered Species Protection Act of 1973 on December 28 and signed it.

Laws of Domestic Endangered Species Many states manage only wildlife and wildlife. In Washington State, the Washington State Fish and Wildlife Service (WDFW) manages a list of "interested species" within the state, including endangered species, endangered species, sensitive species, candidate species. The Endangered Species Protection Act (ESA) in 1973 is the strongest law for domestic wildlife conservation. This is carried out by the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the National Marine Fisheries Department. According to ESA, seeds can be designated as "in danger of extinction" or "in danger of extinction". Endangered species are protected by ESA.
