On Friday, May 6, the Carlisle High School's National Honor of Art of Society (NAHS) will host the fourth annual bowl event of the sky every year. An empty bowl is an international effort to raise awareness of fight against hunger. Empty Bowls collects millions of dollars for organizations that are hunting and happening in many states in the United States and many other countries. Most activities are simple soups and breads that remind people of the plight of those who need to participate in the food library. At Carlyle Art Learning Center, we hold events like these for many years. Many people in the community are participating in various ways. NAHS does not want to reduce or repeat what is being done for just cause. In order to distinguish our activities, participants offer ice creams from handmade bowls and encourage them to donate for this purpose. Like other empty bowls, customers can store bowls to remind the reasons. All donations to tickets will be donated to Project Share Food Bank.

Tickets are available at Bison Corner, Art Show, NAHS students, and high school art teachers.

Over the past five years I have helped Adriana and Neena neighbors make empty bowls in a shared courtyard in Oakland, California. The basic purpose of Empty Bowls is to collect funds for our local food bank, the Alameda County Community Food Bank. We were very successful in this field (this year we gathered over $ 10,000!), The sky bowl is more than just collecting checks and counting the total. Empty bowls build and strengthen our community, support our local artists, celebrate delicious dishes and beautiful pottery, and educate people about hunger and poverty

There is an empty bowl for hungry cases. Local elementary schools, high school students, art college art students and professional artists are required to make clay pots and donate to the project. Then we will hold a soup dinner. Event organizers usually charge a fixed number of bowls and soup ($ 10 to $ 20 per cup), allowing people to choose bowls and various soups. Participants can keep their balls and donate their earnings to local food stations. Activities usually include music and other performances. Nationwide websites have information: www.emptybowls.net or you can write to an empty bowl or contact them via email

In the sky bowl, the original bowl made by local artists is full of real soup and bread. You will buy a bowl for $ 25 (keep this bowl as your memory of good deeds, which food bank can help you offer 75 meals for those who need them) Reminds me that there is always a bowl. Let the children eat snacks during the summer. Only 3 million children participate in the summer meal plan. In other words, about 18 million children are at risk of hunger every year. Please send "FEEDKIDS" to 50555 and donate ten dollars directly to Feeding America. It is the national leading domestic hunger bailout charity, and your donation helps them to provide 70 meals to children and families facing hunger.
