Empirical versus Theoretical Economics: A Commoner’s Perspective of the Age Old Debate

This is by no means an economics paper nor an "attempt" for one person (in most cases it is for me). This is just an article, about some interesting research questions facing economists in the evolution of the theme, and how we find amazing similarities in everyday life I will share my views freely. This is also an opportunity to extend my most sincere wishes and greetings to the organizers of YESM 2013. YESM 2013 is now a regular function of the Kolkata economics student calendar and there are more than that.

Theory of economics - empirical discussions are quietly done in the unknown part of academia. Recent online discussions and economic meetings include what is quiet and less ambiguous. This decision appears to be beneficial to the experience. The rapid increase in empirical research can be explained by simple supply and demand. Decades ago, no data existed at all and it was difficult to obtain a means to use it. However, "novelty" does not explain the sustainability of empirical research. Of course, I empirically demonstrated empirical research and made a great contribution to the field of economics - I believe this is the driving force behind the growing interest in development economics.

The purpose of this paper is to incorporate discussions on immigration and development more widely into historical perspective and social theory of immigration theory. The lack of rationale and lack of a descriptive description of a large amount of empirical research work has bothered the progress of the theory.
