Emotional-centered couple therapies help identify, process and express emotional experiences in partner relationships. Emotions are handled differently depending on the emotions expressed and the influence on individuals and couples (Goldman and Greenberg, 2013). Treatment of emotional center is rooted in attachment theory using lenses of early relationship to conceptualize conflict between husband and wife. Children with ADHD and anxiety disorders may also pose challenges to their parents. Parents may need guidance on how to support the development of these children while managing some difficult behavior that may occur.
