Emitions of the Soul

The French Revolution was an era of hostility and fear. The French people were angry at the unfair that conquered their lives and made them lose their future. Measures taken by farmers expressed their painful anger in retaliation against oppression they imposed. Hatred boils in their blood vessels and causes their fierce rebellion. Charles Dickens reveals various aspects that influence these behaviors in the "two-story tale". Hatred is one of the many emotions played by the characters of the "stories of the two cities".
