Emily Dickinson

Emily Dickinson was recognized as one of the largest poets in the United States in 1930 and was born on 10 December 1830 at Amphés, Massachusetts (1). Dickinson's greatness and accomplishments are not necessarily recognized. In her era, women were not regarded as serious writers, and her talent was often overlooked.
