Introduction: Human civilization is constantly evolving in the fields of science, engineering, architecture and medicine. Because of these social progress, the population allows individuals to live a healthier life. Thanks to the dramatic progress of metal alloys used in automobile manufacturing, life has been significantly improved by transportation. Many of the chemicals in personal care products are classified as new pollutants. This means that the risks they may bring are not well understood. Not only concerns about human health effects but people are concerned about how these new pollutants affect our environment and drinking water. When you take a shower, personal care products flow into sewers and go to sewage treatment plants. These plants can remove many pollutants from sewage, but they are not designed to handle thousands of chemicals in cosmetics (or pharmaceuticals). Many ingredients in personal care products pass through the treatment plant and inevitably end up in the environment

Human activities cause chemical pollutants in the environment, usually mobilized by water. Further research on measurement, fate and impact of existing pollutants and newly emerging pollutants is necessary. This will help identify and control the risks of pollutants to the environment and human health. Our understanding of the major destiny process of many contaminants is well developed. Experiments and modeling methods can be used to determine how substances behave in the environment and to determine exposure levels. However, the knowledge gap includes the environmental fate of nanoparticles and drugs, as well as identification of conversion products and risk analysis. Chemical science is important for assessing the environmental and human health risks by low concentrations of chemical mixtures.
