Embracing Cultures: The Chinese and The Scottish People

There are billions of people in the world, but each and every one of us is different in many ways. We are all acting to symbolize our culture in some way. The US will use July 4 as a special occasion to celebrate the independence of the United States from the UK. The occurring event represents some form of freedom and independence. Without these celebrations, the world we live in will be different; we do not know our history and the reasons we celebrate these events. This is a way to understand how we have done as a culture and celebrate how far we have been.

During such a festival, people can learn more about their ancestors and pedigree, hence increasing the relationship between family and the country. Chinese festivals incorporate the cultural identity and spirit of the country. Through these festivals, people will become more familiar with their roots (Jared 50).
