Elizabeth I of England: A Brief Biography

Elizabeth I of England is one of the most famous monarchs in British history. During her 44 years of reign (often called the golden era), her kingdom developed rapidly from a poor middle country to a world power thanks primarily to her. Under her control, art became flourishing and playwrights such as Shakespeare and Christopher Marlow were still able to produce related works even today. The word "Renaissance" means resurrection, Queen Elizabeth brought her country. That is why she was the real person of the Renaissance.
