Elevators are one of the safest means of transportation but by following these simple guidelines you can ensure the safety of passengers. It is important to know not only how to get on the elevator properly but also how to deal with the elevator stop. If there is a possibility that the power supply may be interrupted in a fire or other situation, please go up the stairs

If you need to open the door, keep pressing the DOOR OPEN button or have someone press the button.

After boarding, immediately press the floor button (there is no need to dispatch the elevator to the destination), then move to the back of the car to secure space for other passengers.

Do not panic if you need to park the elevator in the floor. The elevator has enough air.

The most important thing is to wait for a qualified person to arrive and not to leave the elevator which normally did not stop.

If you are near the landing point, the goalkeeper opens. You can slowly walk slowly from the elevator. Please note the procedure as the elevator floor may be on the same plane as the landing or not.

Even if the door is not open it is safe. Please do not try to leave the elevator. Wait for the trained emergency personnel to arrive. Even if the temperature gets warmer, there are still plenty of air circulation in the elevator and its hoistway.

In the new elevator, there is a telephone button instead of an alarm button. When pressed, this will call a trained party (ie elevator company, alarm company etc) to take action. You can see the exact location of the building and elevator

Some of the elevators have an interactive speaker system or telephone so you can communicate with buildings and rescuers. Even if you do not hear it or if the phone does not work, please do not panic. Some phones can only respond to phone calls. When you arrive at the building, please contact a well trained person.

Do not try to leave the basket of stalled elevator. This is very dangerous. Always waiting for trained first aid personnel

Another story of elevator spacing originates from Elisha Graves Otis, inventor of equipment that can be used for the safety of elevators, going back to the 1950s. In 1852, Otis began to develop a device to improve the safety of the elevator. The device consists of the engagement of the steel track springs and provides an alternative catch and hold mechanism if the elevator rope gets in the way. In 1854, in front of the crowd of Crystal Palace Expo's crowd, Otis revealed his installation. He lifted the elevator as usual, but the rope was disconnected as it was located about half of the elevator shaft. The platform of the elevator is fixed by Otis equipment. This can be called the first elevator interval so far.

An elevator is an outer casing that moves up and down within a vertical shaft to transport cargo with people. The origin of the elevator dates back to 1852 when Elisha Otis developed the first elevator safety brake in 1853 and attached it to the elevator. Otis started construction of an elevator company to manufacture cargo elevators in 1853. His invention helped architects achieve the goal of designing higher buildings. Otis established the first manpower elevator in New York's department store in 1857. In 1861 he received a patent of improved safety brake and kit. After his death, his sons opened brothers Otis, in 1873 they installed over 2,000 elevators in various buildings. Brothers Otis cooperated with the other 14 organizations to establish the Otis Elevator Company in 1898, and in 1903 launched the gearless traction elevator.
