Eleutherodactylus p. Planirostris from the Leptodactylidae family, or more common greenhouse frogs. They were unintentionally introduced to Florida around 1875. The number is on the rise and is now very common in South Florida and there are more and more inhabitants near narrow strips. The greenhouse frog has a reddish brownish appearance and black spots behind it. They are of relatively small size and typically grow from about 1 inch to 1 inch and half.
Ko-kee, ko-kee ... is the other party's phone that invades the frog of Cotai and they have penetrated most of the big island. These toadows, also known as Eleutherodactylus coqui, were born in Puerto Rico, and these frogs are considered to be their livestock (Singer et al.). When the plant group from Puerto Rico to Hawaii was brought to Hawaii in the latter half of the 1980s, toads were brought into Hawaii by chance. The frog is about 2 inches in length and is usually light brown or gray with streaks behind.
Eleutherodactylus coqui Thomas (Anura: Leptodactylidae) was brought into Hawaii by accident from Puerto Rico in 1988. In addition to being a major annoyance to noise, frogs pose a threat to the ecosystem of Hawaiian islands. The frog of the winter has a greedy appetite that endangers Hawaiian unique insects and spiders. They can also compete with unique birds and other local fauna that depend on insects as food. Frogs are very suitable for various ecological zones and elevations of the state from sea level to 4,000 feet above sea level (volcanic area of Hawaii). Scientists are also worried that if a palm tree snake happens to be brought to Hawaii, the population of established toads may become a ready-made food source.
When it comes to frog life Eleutherodactylus coqui has a unique lifecycle. Most frogs start living at the stage of pupae or larvae, the tails are small and swim before the feet begin to grow. On the contrary, these small balls are hatched by small frogs, which basically skips the embarrassing stages that other frog species must pass through. All species of Eleutherodactylus are characterized by direct generation where eggs hatch in small frogs and crickets pass through the eggs themselves. There is no squatting step in the shell so female frog does not necessarily need water to lay eggs.
