ELA 6-8: Finding Home: Refugees (Module 1, Unit 2)

Module course location: This course is part of the EngageNY 8th grade ELA, Module 1, Unit 2. The plan starts with Lesson 14. Students completed the task in November 2015. This article will write a story poem about the refugee's general experience - it ends with the evaluation of Unit 2 which led to the third unit. The challenge for Module 3 is to write narrative poems from the refugee's point of view and show how their lives change. Therefore, in this article, I introduce these concepts first.
