The Posa's El Merendero restaurant offers full service and self-service catering menus for all sizes of meals. The Posa family has been producing in Santa Fe for over 50 years, supplying and selling the finest New Mexican cuisine. Since 1955, our handmade corn meal was our main product. They are made in the same way as the original polenta made by our grandparents. Posa's catering service focuses on New Mexican cuisine and we only serve New Mexican food. Rice glutinous rice and winter vacation are made by each other. The Tamale store around my hometown El Paso started seeking a large amount of corn meal in December. Other more traditional families will hold Tamarada (Tamale making party) to line up with family and friends to assemble Corn meal and then put them in a large amount of steam. (I was a bit worried about not using the more accurate Spanish version, Tamar of the singular form, Tamar of the plural as the former Spanish teacher, but most readers would like Tamar's "Tamar" I will recognize it.)

Pros: You can feel the real Mexican atmosphere, the cashier is good at explaining things to us. I ordered Psa 's Tamales cheese and chicken, and my husband' s usual frit pie. It seems that we can not spell the correct name while waiting for us to give samples of ground meat ground meat. I love them, fortunately my husband likes his sample. When food comes out, I know how it will soon. But it is not good, it is wonderful. I will be happy with cooking again. Peppers have enough spices to keep dancing your taste buds but they are not enough to ignite them. They have fresh taste and I can not stop eating them. I am very glad that they sell corn meal.
