In Arkansas, Eldorado is celebrating its 10th anniversary of its university commitment program. Ten years ago, Murphy Oil Company started the El Dorado Commitment. This includes tuition and fees for all El Dorado high school graduates who have been studying EHS since 9th grade. These students can participate in any accredited college or university in the United States. The results of a stable high school enrollment, a strong university culture, students pursuing a stricter high school course, and students attending more universities are impressive. Today, in El Dorado, 84% of the high school graduates are entering the university and the proportion in the province is 50%.
