Eight Literature Reviews Show How the Ratio of Female to Male Teachers Effects our Students

Since the 1970s women have dominated education (Riddell, Tett, 2010). The feminization of education shows the high position of women in society and this status is still improving. In this article we will explore the ratio of female teachers and teachers and the impact that education has on students. These concepts will be further explored through 8 different literature reviews. In a study by Drudy (2008), she studied how gender imbalances in education influence the role of teachers.

Since the literature on teacher gender issues is very extensive, literature review begins with research on gender role development theory and social learning theory. Next, we examine gender role expectation and stereotype of male and female students. This information is combined with studies on classroom experience including student-teacher interaction and research on teacher training. An effective teacher is a person who achieved a goal set by you or a goal set by another person (Ministry of Education, Congressman, other government officials, school administrator, etc). One of the main opportunities for students to participate in classes is to answer questions from the teacher. Teachers need to call in a balanced way or talk with female students and boys. Studies have shown that male and female teachers seek boys to talk more frequently than girls in the classroom. Some male or female students may take time to think about the answers to their questions when making a phone call. When you call a student who seems to wait a while to answer the question, please give it at least 4 to 5 seconds.
