On November 29, the Egg Harbor Township Veterans Advisory Committee announced and awarded the winner of the 2017 essay competition "Veterans Day 's significance for America" at the city hall meeting. Please read aloud voting articles of the Veterans Advisory Committee, mayor, and community aloud.
The winners of this year's competition are Jolie Smith (Clover Hill High School, 11th grade) and Martine Whiting, Jr. (Tabb Middle School, 7th grade). Both winners read their articles aloud in celebration of Commonwealth Veterans Day on Sunday, November 11, 2018. In November 11, 2018, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, this World War I service exceeded 4.7 million people, of which approximately 2.8 million people served abroad. World War I interfered with the lives of soldiers, their families and communities. This era is also one of the cultural changes brought about by war. The influence of World War I during the state of Virginia was widespread and could be seen in the life of people living in various ways.
On a veteran's anniversary on 11th November 2015, after a delicious breakfast for veterans at the Kirby's Mill School Library, winners and athletes won a prize at a local essay contest for elementary school fifth graders did. The Walter Levy Essay Contest will be held at five elementary schools in Medford Township. The school meeting gave cash prizes and certificates to 10 young patriots. Our last prize was awarded to our annual teacher tonight: Dr. Kimberly Mueller of F. L. Walter School, Lumberton. Dr. Muller has won an Excellence Award in mathematics and science education so far. Seeing the awards: "Mr. Mueller redefines the mathematical abilities of children 5 and 6 years old, was elected Lumberton Township Educator in 2005 to 2006. She wrote in New Jersey in 2004 , I received her honor in New Jersey Best Practice Project Her creative project "Are you ready to join football?"
