Egocentrism

Selfishness can be defined as "unacceptable for others' view" (Floyd 140). Selfishness is widely believed to be common among young children. They do not understand the concept of thinking others. Infants believe the world really encompasses them. Most children will exceed this self centricity, but some children are selfish, like adults. We all know that one or two adults can not see this through the eyes of others. They can not put themselves in other people 's shoes.

EGOCENTRISM - Children show self centrality, and when children begin to represent the world psychologically, they will not notice other points besides themselves. Piaget explains self-centeredness with a child 's lively idea. This is characterized by an inanimate object having the same behavior and thought as herself. Protection - Even if the appearance of an object changes, the physical properties of the object remain unchanged and the child can not see the preserved state yet. Piaget explained the lack of such protection centrally. It is characterized by perceptual thinking, not transformation or irreversible thinking.

Piaget (1962) defined self-centeredness as being unable to differentiate between self-centered and non-self. It takes a variety of forms specific to a particular stage of development. Egocentricism is a prominent feature of cognitive function as children begin to respond, assimilate and adapt to new behavioral areas. Therefore self-centeredness is a routine behavior with imbalance (Flavell, 1977). Early in puberty, self - centricism re - emerged theoretically at the same time as the appearance of formal operational thinking (Inhelder & Piaget, 1958; Piaget, 1969), influenced social cognition. As part of this normative change, adolescent young people are increasingly absorbed. It not only absorbs the fact that they themselves have multiple possible views but there are also themselves of themselves. Absorbing and adjusting others' opinions, finding your own self is a difficult task.
