Levonorgestrel is mainly used to prevent pregnancy. However, it also applies to menstrual symptoms of combination oral contraceptives. Levonorgestrel inhibits the secretion of GnRH, LH and FSH by negative feedback to the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonad axis. Levonorgestrel inhibits the secretion of LH and FSH from the anterior pituitary. This indirectly leads to delayed follicular development. Lowering of the LH level also causes a delay or suppression of the LH fluctuation, thereby inhibiting ovulation. According to Danielsson (2010), peak LH is suppressed or delayed when LNG is applied 2 to 3 days before LH surge.
Drugs: Hormonal drugs are sometimes used to treat symptoms of uterine polyps. These include gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists. And it prevents the body from producing certain hormone progesterone, and usually progesterone prescribed in the form of cream. There is little research on the effectiveness of these hormones in the treatment of uterine polyps (22).
Progesterone destroyer. Any compound that blocks native signaling of progesterone is termed "anti-progestin". We call progesterone natural progesterone, synthetic progesterone is called artificial molecule progesterone, so this is a bit confusing. However, any process or molecule that blocks the progesterone pathway is labeled as an antiprogestin. As we get aged, we produce fewer progesterone, so aging is a natural antiprogestin. However, modern life is full of non-natural molecules that block healthy progesterone signaling and can act as synthetic or environmental or toxic antiprogestin. One example is a family of analgesics, many of which have found a marketed drug called NSAID (a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug). Antiprogestin which interferes with progesterone's benefit
This is double sex. Progesterone exists not only in men and women but also in boys and girls, occurring in various amounts. Young and middle-aged healthy Venus and Mars body, brain and nervous system produce progesterone. Why do all of us have it? Progesterone contains various "hats" to maintain health. As you know, this means that natural progesterone treatment can be a useful additional treatment tool for many diseases. Brain and nervous system Progesterone protects your brain. Progesterone is a group of endogenous (naturally occurring) steroids (hormones) called neurosteroids. Neurosteroids protect the tissues of the brain and nervous system. Progesterone is locally produced in the brain and passes through many nerves in the spinal cord. Progesterone production in our brain and the entire nervous system including the nervous system in our intestine occurs in boys, girls, men and women
